This cafe have the friendliest staff I've come across .... ever! They made me feel very welcome although I hadn't visited previously and was only passing through. I had a coffee and fruit toast and the rest of the fare is good country food. The service was efficient and attentive. And an older local woman who was having a small gathering of friends for her birthday was given a free coffee and plate of small cakes to share.

Number 1 local breakfast spot - perfect eggs and bacon, coffee etc. Love that its always the same great quality and atmosphere.

As always Hendos was friendly and delicious. Good home cooked food at a reasonable price. I had the pot roast and my husband had lasagne. Both were good.
